Richard King also verified my report on the VOCM outlet at Clarenville on 710 AM (CKVO). CKVO was heard with a local identification as “7-10 VOCM” and with local commercials for a.o. the upcoming Christmas sales while we were at Lista on November 2 last year.

Radio Simpatía 1410 verification

Received a brief e-mail reply from Radio Simpatía in Valera, Venezuela. Radio Simpatía was heard with fairly good signals on 1410 kHz on the DX-pedition to Lista last November, mixing with the more uncommonly heard Radio Mensabé in Panamá.

WAKR Akron OH 1590 verification

Chuck Collins, Program Director at WAKR in Akron, Ohio, sent me a brief e-mail confirming my report of the station on 1590 kHz. WAKR was heard briefly during the DX-pedition to Lista in February 2006. This is my very first Ohio verification.
